While Taking a Victory Lap, We Have a Call To Action That's Giving Us More Time to Act.
RFK Jr.'s budget got shut down and the WHO is asking for public comment.
If you are a regular reader, you will recall the recent calls to action…
However, I need first to point out that we have a new call to action at the WHO, where they are seeking public comments regarding the “WHO Strategic and Operational Plan for Coronavirus Disease Threat Management (2025–2030).”
Technically, this should be closed, but the WHO tends to leave these open longer.
The gateway to comment said it ended a few hours ago, but as of writing, it is still open, and there is also an email associated with it that could be used to reach them.
You can download the document and find the comment link here.
The link to comment is at the bottom of the page, or you can use this.
And here is the provided email… covid19@who.int
I’ll provide some talking points at the end of the article.
I didn’t want this to get lost because what I’m about to tell you is kinda wild.
Back to the last few calls to action.
These are listed in reverse order, from most recent to oldest.
We Have Just a Few More Days to Stop RFK Jr. by Means of the House Energy & Commerce Committee
Two Calls to Action; Both Critical and Both in Congress. Time Is Not Our Friend
It's Time to Call the Senate; It's Not Just About Novavax Anymore, We Have to Protect All Vaccines.
Then we had a pivot to the appropriations committee, while I didn’t publish an article we did discuss this on a call…
And believe it or not…
It worked.

Trust me when I say I am as surprised as you are reading this now.
It actually worked, and almost no one reported on it.
Things are also heating up for RFK Jr., as there have been requests from the House Oversight and Ethics Committee for documents that would be related to what he perjured himself over.
That said, there have been so many requests from Oversight and Ethics regarding his behavior that even finding that link became a bit of a challenge.
So, let’s not assume the two Committees are on the same page, but we’re close.
That means we need to contact the Oversight and Ethics members and request a full investigation into his perjury at the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate HELP Committee as well.
However, the former is the more egregious. So, we’ll focus on that.
It’s very straightforward; he’s either lying to Congress or he doesn’t know where he is.
Both mean he should not be responsible for public health in any capacity.
There is bipartisan support for stopping RFK Jr.’s madness, as it was Republican leadership that led to the exclusion of his MAHA restructuring of the HHS.
That means there may also be bipartisan support for his potential perjury.
We should at least find out.
As you will see, there are a large number of members. If you are overwhelmed, start with those who are also in the Health and Financial Services subcommittee, as they are most likely to be closely aligned with the other health-related subcommittees.

WHO public comment talking points
These talking points are from our newly minted staff member, whom we are happy to have on board….
You can find his post from yesterday here.
If you are looking for help, you might find it in the comments.
I suggest taking a quick look at the document before trying to fill it out, as the format is slightly different from what we are used to.
But generally speaking, we want these talking points to fit into their questionnaire-style public comment format, and you can decide what fits bits.
And by no means limit yourself to these points. If you think one is missing, leave it in the comments. I’m sure our list is incomplete, but the format is very different.
Main points
1. Recognize airborne transmission as the primary mode of COVID-19 spread and the primary mode of the spread of all respiratory pathogens.
2. Make clean indoor air a core component of infection prevention.
3. Center Long COVID prevention, treatment, and research.
4. Acknowledge COVID-19 as a vascular, multi-system disease with long-term impacts from viral persistence
5. Define COVID-19 as a respiratory-transmitted disease (RTD), not a respiratory disease
6. Ensure public access to adequate respiratory protection (eg, N95 respirators or better)
7. Ensure public access to effective vaccines for COVID-19 (eg, Novavax)
Thank you for taking the time to protect our public health.
If you are a new reader and want to follow up with some of my work…
Amidst this, I started doing a show multiple times a week in early 2023. We formed a group and consistently did the show to push successful direct action.
This led to presentations and direct contact with members for further action…
VRBPAC Meeting: June 15th, 2023 - COVID
VRBPAC Meeting: March 5th, 2024 - Influenza.
VRBPAC Meeting: June 5th, 2024 - COVID
VRBPAC Meeting: Sept. 20th, 2025 - Pertussis
VRBPAC Meeting: May 22nd, 2025 - COVID
The COVID presentations employed an “inside/outside” strategy. We did the presentation “inside” the meeting, but also had the public contact from the “outside” with not only public comments but direct contact via academic emails to members.
If you are unclear, VRBPAC is a committee of the FDA and, with that, the HHS.
Our work has been cited in a few articles.
