Hi, wondering if anyone can help me with this scenario. My history: Novavax 3 series in 2022-2023 ending April 2023. Updated Novavax XBB November 2023.

I'm going for surgery this April 24th just a week shy of 6 months, wondering if I should get another Novavax XBB before then?

You know, I just don't see the 2 shot NVX is allowed after mRNA shots, only 1 allowed. Please send a link to this info - I'll probably need it when I go to Costco. Thanks!

“You can get a booster or update either 2 months later or you have to wait the full 6 months but you only need one update if you maintained the response.”

What does “if you maintained the response” mean here? Completed the new 3-part primary series, or are you saying there is some flexibility of timing between shots #2 and #3?

“No new vaccines, of any type, during that period from 3-6 months post.

That’s the pesky IgG4 issue and it’s a doozy.” IgG4 is above my head. I caught covid right between nvx #1 and nvx #2. No adverse effects from nvx #2, but slightly worried nvx #3 will send my immune system intro overdrive. TIA for any feedback/advice.

Thank you for the new post and fighting the good fight! You're an inspiration.

My elderly parents had several mRNA vaccines. They had 1 Novavax in late November and missed the 2nd shot after 2 months. When should they get shots 2 and 3?

Wait a full six months and do the two shot process again... but spread out the same.

It will give the antibodies the lift they need but from there is a new shot every 6-8 months to maintain peak response... if there is an update then you just need one.

Timing doesn't change unless you have a gap and then you'd just do the two again and back to normal timing.

great article! I totally missed this: "First off, the Census was going to change how Disability was tracked for their process that would have dramatically reduced the amount of disability we are seeing in our communities and after immense public pressure they decided not to change the method for gathering that information" fabulous news!

and this is exactly how to get things changed: "But in the end, grassroots activism works… IF you can get enough people."
